The Principles Of The Aldaewa

(Usul Al-Dawah)

The book “Usul al-Da`wah”, the most beloved literature to Sheikh Abd al-Karim Zaidan, wrote it at the end of the sixties of the last century and added to it multiple additions over forty years, the last of which was the discussion of truth in the last book entitled (The Dawa in the Present Age: Reality - Obstacles - Solutions). The book is 500 pages long, and has been translated into many languages.

The sheikh says about this book:

We mean a call, a call to God, the Almighty said:

(قُلْ هَٰذِهِ سَبِيلِي أَدْعُو إِلَى اللَّهِ ۚ عَلَىٰ بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِي.. )

(Say, "This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who follow me ..) . What is meant by the call to God is the call to his religion, which is Islam, “The religion for God is Islam, which Muhammad brought ه from his Lord, glory be to Him. Islam is the subject of the call and its reality, and this is the first basis for the call. The noble Messenger has reached this great Islam better and complete it and has continued to pray to God from the time that God honored him with the message until the time he moved to the side of his gracious Lord.

He is  ﷺ  the first preacher to Islam. So the caller is the second principle of the call.

Those who were called by the Messenger of God   to Islam and whose message was conveyed to them are the Arabs and others, because its message is general to all people and is not limited to the Arabs, God said:

(وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا كَافَّةً لِّلنَّاسِ بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا)

So, the person invited to Islam, then, is the third origin of the call. The Messenger of God advocated Islam with the means, methods and approaches that God revealed to him and which are proven in the Qur’an and the noble Prophet’s Sunnah. These means, methods, and relate matters are the fourth origin of the call.

So, the origins of the call are Four: Its subject, The caller, The one who is called, and the means.

Research Methodology

Based on the foregoing, our method of research will be divided into four chapters, each chapter for one of the origins of the da'wah as follows with a fifth Sectios on the da'wah in the present age, and finally a conclusion to these Sectios:

The First Section: The Subject Of the Invitation

The subject of the call is Islam that God Almighty revealed to His Messenger Muhammad ﷺ  in the Qur’an and the Sunnah. In our words on Islam, we do not want to elaborate and elaborate, just as we do not want brevity and brevity, but rather we want to clarify something about it that the invited person needs, and the one cannot be ignorant ... On this basis it is necessary to clarify its definition, its pillars, its characteristics, its systems and its purposes. Accordingly, we will divide this section into five chapters.

  Chapter One: Defining Islam

  Chapter Two: Its Pillars

  Chapter Three: Its Characteristics

  Chapter Four: Its Regulations

  Chapter Five: His Purposes

Section Two: The Caller

The caller is the one who is legally assigned to call to God, so it is necessary to introduce him and to explain the evidence for his assignment. The preacher, while carrying out this legal assignment, needs a kit to help him perform what he was assigned to and facilitate this great task. It also needs a certain type of Islamic ethics more than others, and on this we will divide this section into three chapters:

Chapter one - Introducing the da'i

The Second chapter - several preacher

Chapter Three - The Ethics of the Caller

Section Three: The one who is called

In the first chapter we talked about the subject of the da'wah - Islam - then we spoke in the second chapter about the preacher who believes in Islam and advocates for it. The person who is called to Islam is the one who is invited, and it is what we are talking about in this chapter, and speaking about the invited requires introducing him and explaining what he has, what he owes, and the categories of those invited, and on this we will divide this chapter into two chapters:

Chapter One: Definition of the invited person and his and his obligations.

  Chapter Two: Types of Guests

Section IV: Means and methods of advocacy

The call to God requires specific knowledge and competence to communicate, influence and benefit from circumstances and conditions, and knowledge of the human soul. As for knowledge, we have talked about it in connection with the subject of the da'wah, i.e. Islam. Here we are talking about the knowledge that relates to how to initiate notification and remove obstacles from it, and these are the methods of calling, and we also talk about the things and matters that the caller uses to convey the invitation, and these are the means of calling. So if the one who called it up understood all of that, he would be able to have a degree of competence to convey the meanings of the call to God Almighty, and every facilitator for what was created for him, and all matters are in the hands of God.

Based on this, we will divide this section into three chapters :

Chapter One: The sources of these methods and means and the extent of their need .

  Chapter Two: advocacy methods

  Chapter Three: Means of Advocacy

Section Five: Dawa in the Present Age (Reality - Obstacles – Solutions)

This section falls into two chapters, the first in the introductions and the second in the research topic.

Chapter One: Introductions

Chapter Two: advocacy in the present age (reality - obstacles - and solutions)

The first topic: the reality of the call to Islam

The first branch: The reality of individual and group preachers.

The second branch: the reality of the invitees.

The third branch: the reality of the subject of the invitation.

The fourth branch: the reality of the means and methods of advocacy.

The second topic: Obstacles to advocacy

The first branch: internal or internal obstacles to advocacy

The second branch: external obstacles to advocacy

First: the lack of money

Second: The foreign doctrines and opinions

Third: The position of the rulers on the da'wah and the preachers.

Fourth: The state of the invitees and their position on the invitation and the preachers

The third topic, solutions to advocacy obstacles

Solve the obstacle of lack of money

  Resolve advocacy barriers

  The solution for your invitees

  The solution for the media

Solve the obstacle of invalid opinions and doctrines arriving .

  Solve the rulers' handicap .

Solve the obstacles of the multiplicity of groups and the state of their leaders.

Conclusion

This is what God Almighty is pleased with in explaining the origins of the call to God, the Blessed and Exalted be He, and if it is correct then it is pure grace of God to me, and if there is a mistake or an error, then ask forgiveness of God Almighty and God and His Messenger are innocent of it. I just want to fix what could compromise but God upon trust, and to him I turn) Finally, I ask God Almighty, a good official, that the benefit of these chapters of the author and the reader, and that makes us who God Almighty said in them that those who believe and do good works to guide them with their Lord faith ۖ Rivers flow from beneath them, in the gardens of bliss. And God is the helper, and there is no strength or power except with God, and may God’s prayers be upon our master Muhammad, his family and all his companions, and praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.
