The Departure Of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Karim Zidan: The Man Who Educates Human Advocacy

I learned a short while ago about the departure of Prof. Dr. Abdel-Karim Zaidan, and the scholar, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Karim Zidan, a university professor, Islamic preacher and general guide of the Muslim Brotherhood in Iraq .

I knew him since I was a student at the College of Education - University of Baghdad in the early sixties of the last century, and I followed his books, researches, studies, and positions. The efforts of Dr. Abdul Karim Zaidan in the service of the Islamic Call.

His books include: “The Introduction to the Study of Islamic Law,” “The Individual and the State in Islamic Law,” and “Rulings of the Dhimmis and the Trustworthy in the House of Islam .”

I was once surprised by an answer he published in Al-Busa'ir (Al-Baghdadia) newspaper about a question related to the extent to which Muslims in Iraq and their groups need advice and whether their condition necessitates that, saying: “Yes, because counseling among Muslims is one of the legitimate requirements. Advice, "Muslims today in Iraq need advice to reject division and disagreement and return to unity and agreement. The command to hold the rope of God is a positive matter, not a scarring and desirable matter, and also the prohibition on separation is a prohibition of a prohibition, not a prohibition of hatred. On its basis, and in the noble hadith: “You must join the group, you and the group.” What facilitates unity and agreement is that God Almighty has decreed and ruled by brotherhood and the brotherhood of religion, not the brotherhood of lineage.The Iraqis, individuals and groups, must accept amnesty and forgive, preserve rights, and consult among themselves on public matters that concern their interests and the interests of their country and which require a single stance towards them .
