Imam Al-Azam University College Holds A Scientific Symposium On The Thought Of Sheikh Dr. Abdel-Karim Zaidan

Under the auspices of the Imam Al-Azam University College, the Department of Fundamentals of Religion held a scientific symposium entitled (Readings in the Thought of Sheikh Dr. Abdul-Karim Zaidan) , on Tuesday 7 Rajab 1435 AH corresponding to June 6 2014 AD in the Muhammad bin Al-Hassan Al-Shaibani Hall.

The head of the Department of Fundamentals of Religion, Dr. Abd al-Salam al-Kubaisi, during his speech, welcomed the gentlemen to accept this call, stressing that Sheikh Zaidan was a great thinker, the author of valuable books and he has distinguished research now being studied in universities.

In turn, the official of the University Teachers ’Association, Dr. Nihaya Muhammad Saeed, thanked the Dean of the College for inviting them to attend this valuable seminar, stressing that Sheikh Zaidan was a pride of the Islamic nation and that he was keen on Iraq in all respects, indicating that Zaidan's life was present for science and education, and that he will remain a beacon for the nation. For the existence of his books and research, and for the presence of his students who follow his approach to moderation and moderation.

The ceremony was attended by Assistant Dean of the Great Imam University College for Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Azzawi, Head of the History Department at the College of Education for Girls at Baghdad University, Dr. Shahrazad Al-Nuaimi, and a number of professors at the Iraqi University and the Al-Imam Al-Azam University College, and a large group of college students.
